I was surprised by how intelligent and spectacular a movie it was. The parallels between the ages ancient, present, and in between are fascinating, and it's a shame to think that no filmmaker since 1916 has attempted a historical, epic, poem so grand. It would be easy to dismiss parts of the film, but that would be treason to its creator. It is a comment on the eternal struggle of goodness against it's adversary intolerance, a message to the future that we will never evolve without admitting this. Ninety years later,it seems that we haven't come that far, if we've made any progress at all. Some of the sights are remarkable: Babylon, the heavenly final sequence, the worker's strike, Christ, chariots... Too bad Griffith is mostly remembered for his vision of Klan and black culture in "Birth of a Nation".File size : 1.37 GiBDuration : 2h 57mnFormat : MPEG-4 VisualFormat profile : Streaming Video@L1Format settings, BVOP : YesFormat settings, QPel : NoFormat settings, GMC : No warppointsFormat settings, Matrix : CustomCodec ID : DIVXCodec ID/Info : Project MayoCodec ID/Hint : DivX 4Duration : 2h 57mnBit rate : 871 KbpsWidth : 464 pixelsHeight : 352 pixelsDisplay aspect ratio : 4/3Frame rate : 25.000 fpsResolution : 24 bitsColorimetry : 4:2:0Scan type : ProgressiveBits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.213Stream size : 1.08 GiB (79%)Title : VideoWriting library : XviD 1.1.2 (UTC 2006-11-01)Format : AC-3Format/Info : Audio Coding 3Codec ID : 2000Duration : 2h 57mnBit rate mode : ConstantBit rate : 224 KbpsChannel(s) : 2 channelsChannel positions : L RSampling rate : 48.0 KHzStream size : 285 MiB (20%)Alignment : Aligned on interleavesInterleave, duration : 96 ms (2.40 video frames)Interleave, preload duration : 96 msTitle : Audio [ Pobierz całość w formacie PDF ]
