My own experience is to starteach New Year with a lovely clean slate, or at least a brandnew diary; I always have the best intentions to fulfil thelong list of aims and achievements scribbled in its pagesby the time the year is out. However, I have often given upon many of them by the time January is through. Thisyear, I have decided to try to use crochet to keep me onthe right track and this issue we have provided an array of projects designed tohelp you get organised, take more exercise, or even get a good night’s sleep.Esme Crick’s simple baskets on page 47 are going to be perfect for keeping allmy haberdashery close to hand in my new office, while I am going to be theenvy of my pilates group when I stroll into class with the beautiful colourworkmat bag on page 74, sporting some pretty yoga socks (page 68). It’s havingdarling pieces like this that make you look forward to exercise! If your own crochet resolution is to try out a new technique, take a look at ourfeature for creating perfectly adorable amigurumi on page 78, with tips andadvice from some of our favourite toy designers, then hook a cute duckling totry out what you have learned. Finally, this month’s free gift of ric rac ribbon will add a splash of colour to anycrochet project. Turn to page 59 to learn how to craft ric rac roses and makethis year’s resolution to add a little more rainbow to your life!Enjoy!PublishingPublisherTim HarrisGroup Advertising ManagerJennie Ayresjennie@tailormadepublishing.co.ukAdvertising Sales ManagerClaire Rowlandsclairerowlands@tailormadepublishing.co.ukt. +44 (0)7595 505318Circulation ManagerTim HarrisProduction ManagerJohn BeareIT ManagerVince JonesSubscriptions ManagerChris Wigg(See page 56 for subscription details)Published byTailor Made Publishing LtdPO Box 6337, Bournemouth BH1 9EHt. +44 (0)1202 586848Printed byPrecision Colour PrintingHaldane, Halesfield 1Telford, Shropshire TF7 4QQt. +44 (0)1952 585585©Tailor Made Publishing Ltd 2015All rights reserved.
